Robinsons Art Gallery was founded in 1986 by Dennis Hanegreefs.

Originally the gallery was located in Bruges, in the Karel de Stoutelaan. In 1988 the gallery moved to Zeedijk in Knokke-Zoute where it is still located.

Robinsons Art Gallery is a trendsetter and has co-promoted several artists throughout the years. The gallery promotes very famous art groups like Surrealism, Cobra and Pop Art - Street Art with artists such as Karel Appel, Pierre Alechinsky, Corneille, Dotremont, Paul Delvaux, René Magritte and Fernando Botero.

Next to these Robinsons Art Gallery also works with contemporary artists like Aboudia, Zwelethu Machepha, Partrick Akpojotor, Andries Ntuli, Foster Sakyiamah,Nicko, Huang Yin, Mu Lei, Yang Na, Liu Yujun, Siron Franco, Quik, Olivier Pauwels, Zao Wou Ki, Romelus, Kobe, ...
