Andries Ntuli reside in Johannesburg but is originaly from the Kwa Zulu Natal, East Coast of Sout Africa (a village called Nkandla). His style of work is very original and ethnic, it has 3D layers and layers beneath it. What makes his work different is that he use trash, like bottle caps, bones and plastic materials - literally anything he can find from the streets that he feel like would be useful. He describe his work as modern and contemporary, using a combination of materials over a tempered canvas surfase and trash as a medium of expression showing how his work has evolved not only for him but for the industry as well. He is a self taught artist which means he never received any formal art training whatsoever
Artworks of Andries Ntuli are for sale at Robinsons Art Gallery
